Project:
I worked with a team of 5 students to design a quadcopter that was able to locate a target. The context of this project was that there were three teams all working on a different aspect of a search and rescue mission. The goal was to rescue the professor from the Charles. Ultimately we did our test run on land but we aimed to use the vision system in the quadcopter to locate a brightly colored target. Once the target was located, we wanted to send the GPS coordinates back to another team which was using a kayak so that they could pick up the professor.
